Now that we have the various necessary signals available directly from the telephone connection (see previous experiment), I think it would be nice to investigate the actual ringing of the bell. This turns out to be not so easy because relatively high voltages are required.
In the meantime I've researched a few different methods that I would like to share with you in a video. This page and the video are currently still under development, so come back here soon for the sequel.
