Welcome to the 'Whizzcave', the 'lab' of Arnoud van Delden. Take a look at the project archive for an anthology of my experiments and tinkering with wood, metal, electronics, embedded programming and the 3D printer. Many of these projects eventually get their own (English spoken) film report on the Whizzbizz YouTube channel.
I did my first electronics experiments 49 years ago. This led to a technical education in computer engineering and programming. My first commercial programming job was 43 years ago, and through a lifelong passion for graphics, design and 3D design and animation (since 1996) embedded programming and prototyping for product design where added over the years. I have been profiling myself for quite some time now as a web developer (Dutch site online-ontzorger.nl), graphic designer (Dutch site online-ontwerper.nl), but also with this site as online-developer.com.
When prototyping, I make extensive use of the unsurpassed construction material fischertechnik for the mechanics. Many of these projects at the interface of mechanics and electronics are described by me as a guest author in the German engineering magazine ft:pedia.
My lab and expertise are available for technical consultancy in the field of product and industrial design. I like to use my experience in the field of 3D design and animation, electronics, design, (embedded) programming and construction skills for custom projects. So, please contact me if you are looking for a development partner for your own project.
Always busy with wood, metal, DIY,
electronics and computer projects ....
And of course this site is a project in itself!
So take a look around here, but come back soon.
Because I keep working on it and regularly add to articles.
Besides working on the new articles and videos, I am busy with the descriptions of older projects. That means: taking photos and videos and scrambling all information together. For some older projects this is sometimes labor intensive, so that means that this site is constantly being updated. Keep an eye on it!
